All data retrieved and stored by MyPSNTrophies.com is based on information obtained from the provided PSNID. We cannot obtain by any means any personal or account information. We will not sell, rent, provide any information to third parties.
FAQ
Q: Can I use the website services for free ?
A: Yes. All services provided are free of charge.
Q: If it is free, why do you have advertisements ?
A: Although the services are free of charge, it is not free of maintenance costs. Hosting and domain has some costs which we intend to cover using advertisements.
Q: Can I add my PSN ID?
A: Yes. At the moment only Portuguese accounts that have at least 1 trophy are entitled to have its PSN ID on this website. There are several other sites that provide the same service as this website that you can use if you do not meet the conditions above. To add your PSN ID just follow the sackboy directions... :D
Q: I want to use your gamercards, what do I have to do?
A: You just need to add your PSN ID to our website. Gamercards are automatically generated when your profile is created/updated. Please refer to GamerCards to get the gamercard code to use.
Q: How often are the profiles updated ? Is it automatic ?
A: No, there are no fully automatic updates. Currently automatic updates takes too many server resources. In order to update your profile you just need to enter your profile page, if the profile is more than 4 hours old, it is automatically updated, gamercards included.
Q: Do you provide any API ? Can I use your data on my website ?
A: Currently we do not provide any API.
Q: Why there are some games and trophies not showing up in my profile?
A: We try to have the most accurate information, if you think some game is missing please contact us.
Q: What are those trophies that have a '???' on their title ?
A: Those are hidden trophies. Currently we are not able to get their full details, so they appear as ???, but we are working on it. Secret trophies not yet achieved are not shown either.
Q: Why is that some hidden trophies/trophy icons are visible and others don't ?
A: We've built up a database with games and its trophies, title, description and icon. Probably that database needs to be updated. Please report to: info@mypsntrophies.com the game you're suspecting not to be updated.
Q: I've added my PSN ID but it is no longer listed, why is that ?
A: Your profile was not updated in one month timeframe, we would like to have active profiles and not to waste database space and performance on not active users. Everyday we delete all profiles older than 1 month.
Q: I have other question not listed here, how can I get in touch ?
A: Feel free to ask us questions, you are encouraged to do so, your doubt can be others doubts so please ask and if it is frequent/important enough we'll update this FAQ accordingly. Oh.. and you can email to: info@mypsntrophies.com :)
